About The Course

Physio’s tell us all the time that exercise is a primary management strategy for many musculoskeletal conditions.  However, what is starkly evident is that many are not as certain of how to prescribe the right exercise to the right person at the right time.  Physio’s will often choose an exercise type they are comfortable with.  For some that’s strength and conditioning, others it’s Pilates.  Some are not confident with their exercise prescription at all past some very basic options.

The goals of this course are to:

  • This course is designed to assist physio’s in clinical reasoning with exercise.  We will outline the current best evidence for the use of exercise, discuss the evidence for certain types of exercise, when to use, how to implement effectively and how to target impairments.
  • This course is highly practical, with a focus on lumbopelvic, cervical and axioscapula exercise prescription.  You will learn new and advanced assessments to direct your exercise prescription as well as new exercises for to assist in pain modulation and other impairments.
  • There is nothing like this course out there.  We aren’t biased to one exercise type. We don't confess that one exercise type or prescription is for everyone.  Instead, we promote thorough assessment and sound clinical reasoning and we’ll show you how we do it with our patients through advanced case studies and practical application.
